The K2 Disruption 81Ti W is a women's piste ski built for speed and stability. It comes with a Marker ERC 11 TCx light Quikclik binding.
The ski uses Dark Matter Damping. K2 sandwiches a polymer damper between two layers of high-modulus carbon and places it along the edge. This cuts chatter and improves edge grip and control on firm, rough snow. A Ti I-Beam of Titanal runs down the centre of the ski from tip to tail. It is shaped for stability and precision through the whole turn. PowerWall sidewalls are oversized ABS sidewalls, laminated and pocketed into the wood core in the middle of the ski. That makes the energy transfer from skier to edge direct and precise. The core is aspen veneer, which is light and resilient. Speed Rocker is a short, low rise in the tip for quick turn entry. K2 rates the flex 8 on a scale of 1 to 10.
The sidecut is 124-81-110 mm, and the radius is 14.8 m at 160 cm. At the same length the ski weighs 1,703 g.
