The Tecnica Cochise HV 130 DYN GW is a four-buckle alpine boot with a walk mode, built for expert skiers with wide feet. It has a 130 flex and a 102 mm last, measured in Tecnica's reference size. This version comes in Dark Icon Orange.
The T-Ride walk system is fully integrated and gives a solid connection between cuff and shell. You get an alpine boot for the descent that can still hike, with 55 degrees of cuff motion in walk mode. The Free Move hinge points run on bearings, so the cuff moves without friction. The DYN Tech inserts work in low-tech bindings. Shell and liner follow the shape of the foot through Tecnica's C.A.S. system. Dimples in the shell make it easier to heat and customize, and it holds its new shape longer. The liner is a dual-density microcell material. It holds the heel well and resists pack-out over time. Quick Instep uses softer plastic over the instep, so the shell opens more easily. The Power Lock strap has a hook, so you never need to open it fully.
