The POW Cascadia GTX Long Mitt is a women's mitt with a GORE-TEX insert and 3M Thinsulate insulation. The long cuff goes over your jacket sleeve. This version comes in Stone.
The GORE-TEX insert uses Gore Warm technology, where the lining, membrane and outer material are tuned to keep your hands warmer for longer. The mitt is waterproof, windproof and breathable. The shell is Soft Poly Twill, a light, quick-drying polyester twill. A laminate on the back adds an extra barrier to water. The Rubber-Tex palm is waterproof, and a light texture adds grip. Insulation is Thinsulate C150/C100, which keeps you warm without bulk. In a mitt your fingers share heat, which makes it warmer than a glove, according to POW. A Milky Fiber liner glove comes with the mitt, and its index finger and thumb work on touchscreens. The thumb has a buff panel for wiping your nose and goggles. Buff is a soft material made from finely ground leather fibers.
