The Cabrinha Tronic is a kiteboarding twin tip for riders who want twin tip capability in the surf. Its outline and rocker are made for rough water and waves. This is the 2019 model.
The Tronic cuts through chop with ease and holds power and control through hard turns. The curved outline and pulled-in tips favour choppy water, and the narrow tips give a smooth ride and strong carving. A quad concave running into V-tips makes rail-to-rail transitions easy and gives grip control. The board has the highest rocker line in Cabrinha's range, shared with the CBL. The core is A-grade Paulownia, vertically laminated for strength, low weight and a natural flex. Core profiling controls tip, tail and torsional flex, and tapered raised rails control torsional stiffness while keeping weight to a minimum. Rails and insert blocks are ABS, which bonds very well to epoxy. The flexible construction keeps you comfortable in all conditions, and Cabrinha highlights the upwind performance and edge control for boosting. The board comes with four 50mm fins, four washers, ten 6x16mm screws and a grab handle. It is registered with the IKA for Formula Kite Racing and can be used at the Youth Olympic Games and its qualifier events.
