O'Neills story
O'Neill has produced wetsuits for more than 65 years and is today known as the leading wetsuit brand. The company was founded by Jack O'Neill. Jack was a pioneer in surfing and in 1952 he opened the world's first surf shop in San Francisco, California. California is known for its high-quality waves but what many do not know is that the water temperature is low. This allowed Jack to produce the world's first wetsuit to surf all year round - and O'Neill was created. Since the beginning, O'Neill has had a strong focus on innovative solutions, quality, durability, performance, and design. The products are produced at the factory AREA 52 and developed and tested in collaboration with some of the world's best surfers, like Jordy Smith, Cory Lopez, and Tim Reyes.
