The Cabrinha Ace Wood is a versatile freeride and big air twin tip with a paulownia wood core. This is the 2021 model, which combines performance freeride characteristics with an easy to use and forgiving ride.
The outline is a hybrid of freestyle and freeride, so the board covers most conditions on the day. The wood construction gives a comfortable ride in rough and choppy water. That means more edge control when you jump big and on loaded freestyle take offs. The core is premium A-grade paulownia, vertically laminated to optimise strength, reduce weight and let the board flex naturally. The rails and insert blocks are ABS, a tough, hard wearing material that bonds well to epoxy. The moderate flex gives easier landings, buttery turns and more forgiveness. A medium rocker line gives early lift, reliable edge hold and a lengthened turning radius. Tip channels add traction while riding and when you load up for big air. They also absorb chop and heavy landings. Rail channels give grip on edge and help your pop for freestyle tricks. A single concave through the board gives grip and a smooth ride. Cabrinha recommends the H2O binding for this board.
