SKI HAT MEN
We know that when you're heading out to (or off) the slopes, warmth is an important factor - that's why One Open Sky carries a wide range of men's ski clothing, ski hats for women, ski hats for children, and winter headwear to suit all your needs. One of the most popular styles is a beanie. Beanies are form-fitted hats that sit close to your head and are the perfect option to wear under a ski helmet. There are also many types of hats, such as those with ear flaps, small brims, or pom-poms. Some ski hats are even lined with fleece or fur for extra warmth in chilly weather.
Check the different styles of hats to help narrow down what is best for you.
STYLES
Beanie:The most popular style of hats is beanies or "traditional" hats, which are standard-sized and designed with a snug fit that doesn't slip off or fall easily. Beanie hats are easy to wear under a helmet.
Slouch:More stylish than a standard beanie, the slouchy ski hat has a looser fit, allowing for some excess material at the top of the hat. Slouch hats can also be folded for a more traditional look while adding extra warmth over your ears.
Brimmed:Not the best for under a helmet. It typically resembles a beanie, but slightly tighter. These hats pull the underside at the brim, making the whole hat feel tighter on your head.
Earflap:The warmest of the bunch, earflap hats are typically constructed of wool or acrylic and are made with a polar fleece lining for next-to-skin comfort and extra insulation. They have a flap that covers each ear and often have a pom-pom on top.
Pom-Pom:Also known as ski bobble hats. These caps feature a knitted or yarn "bobble" or pom-pom on top and are often lined with fleece for warmth and softness next to the skin. Ski hats are also available in many different materials, so you can choose based on your needs.
