Dynastar Powerdrive
Powerdrive technology makes Dynastar's piste and all-mountain skis some of the best on the market. At One Open Sky we have tested all models - and have several team riders who also choose to ride Dynastar.
Powerdrive consists of a vertical sidewall made of three materials: a visco-elastic component to absorb rough terrain, a titanium layer to increase performance and power transfer, and a dynamic ABS component on the outside that provides optimal contact between the ski and the ground.
Powerdrive technology is thus based on a multi-material construction that maximizes the transfer of effort between the central core and the sidewall of the ski. In this way, the technology acts as a suspension that increases both shock absorption and grip, resulting in an incredibly smooth and comfortable skiing experience.
