FREESTYLE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2019
In Easter 2019(April 12-21), the World Freestyle Ski and Snowboard Championships will be held in Avoriaz, France. Behind the event is Sunweb as technical travel organizer together with a "task force", which will be responsible for the sporting framework - including track conditions, setup, competition and riders care. This task force consists of Joachim Clausen Hansen, Frederik Højgaard, Maya Casier and our team riders: Thomas Trads and Johan Duus.
As usual, we are sponsoring the event and are happy to support the Danish ski and snowboard community.
Competition will be held in the disciplines Slopestyle and Big Air in the categories: Senior, Junior and Kids.
The DM is scheduled for Easter in order to create awareness outside the freestyle community. It is important for the organizers that Freestyle is seen as a broad sport, and you should be able to participate whether you are 10 or 60 years old. It is therefore a great opportunity to take family or friends on a ski vacation where you can experience a little more than on a traditional ski vacation.

Our team rider Rasmus DJ is looking forward to participating in the competition, especially as the whole ski and board community will be gathered in Avoriaz again. That's exactly where Rasmus' first three skiing seasons took place and where he won the DM for the first time at the age of 16. We look forward to following him and wish him all the best of luck.
