The Oakley Line Miner L in Matte Black is built around a cylindrical lens pulled in tight to the face for the deepest possible downward view. Here it comes with Prizm 24K Gold, one of the most usable lenses in the Prizm Snow range.
Prizm 24K Gold runs a red base tint, a gold mirror and 12 percent light transmission, and Oakley recommends it for sun and clouds. The red underlay drives contrast while Prizm Snow optics are tuned to make snow contours and terrain changes more obvious, so you react earlier. The lens material is injection-moulded Plutonite with 100 percent protection from UVA, UVB and UVC and harmful blue light to 400 nanometres. The dual lens is optically correct and treated with F3 anti-fog, while the Iridium layer balances light transmission and cuts glare. The O Matter chassis keeps giving in the cold, so the frame keeps wrapping to your face.

The L frame is the widest in the Line Miner family and covers more of the face than the M. Combined with the matte black finish and a wide silicone-lined strap, it stays put no matter how hard you are riding.
