The Oakley Line Miner L is a snow goggle with a cylindrical lens and a deep downward view. The L is the widest frame in the Line Miner range and covers more of the face than the M. This one pairs a Grey Smoke frame with a Prizm Snow Black Iridium lens.
Prizm Snow Black Iridium transmits 5.5% of the light, and Oakley classifies it for bright light. The base tint is rose, and the dark Iridium mirror cuts glare off snow and glacier. Prizm Snow optics fine-tune contrast, so you can still read the surface even though the lens holds most of the light out. The lens is injection-moulded Plutonite with 100% protection from UVA, UVB and UVC and from harmful blue light up to 400 nanometres. It is an optically correct dual lens with an F3 anti-fog coating. The frame is flexible O Matter. Triple-layer foam with polar fleece sits against the face, and the wide strap is lined with silicone.
