The JP Freestyle in S-TEC construction is a compact competition freestyle board, developed together with freestyle experts Yentel Caers and Sam Esteve.
The short, compact shape gives quick rotations and more radical moves, with an emphasis on speed during pop so that triple moves become standard. The tail delivers powerful pop for multiple rotations with a balanced width and thickness for flotation and a powerful take-off. A flat scoop rocker generates lift for early planing, while a defined Vee from the mast base forward and a flat Vee towards the tail provide exceptional grip, immediate power and a loose feel. The S-TEC technology makes the board 300 to 400 grams lighter by removing paint coating, minimising anti-slip and using thinner pads, while durability is maintained with S-glass, Biax-Carbon reinforcements and UD Carbon layers. The board has double footstrap plugs with four screws per strap, a subtle deck dome for stability in both regular and switch stance, and a Foil-Powerbox so it can also be used for foilstyle in light wind.
