The Hestra XC Ergo Grip Shark is a fitted cross-country glove equipped with LEKI Trigger Shark, a quick attachment system that replaces the traditional pole straps. The colour is Black/Light grey.
The glove's loop clicks straight into the pole and delivers optimum power transfer, easier handling and faster starts. It is developed for biathletes who need quick transitions between shooting and skiing, and for cross-country skiers who prioritise efficiency. The glove is sewn in stretch polyester with 70% recycled polyester and 30% polyurethane, plus Hestra's three-layer interlock polyester fabric, which is windproof, water-repellent and breathable. The palm is in stretch polyester and the backhand in a windproof, ventilating stretch fabric. The Ergo Grip design with overlapping seams follows the hand's natural shape and keeps surplus material in the palm to a minimum. A neoprene cuff with hook-and-loop closure fits snugly, and a puller makes the glove easy to pull on, even with cold fingers. The glove is machine washable and produced at Hestra's own factory in Hai Phong, Vietnam. With its thin, close-fitting build, it is made for high efficiency and quick transitions, where feel on the pole and fast power transfer matter most.
