Built for cool spring and autumn water, the O'Neill Hyperfreak 4/3+ Chest Zip is a womens wetsuit that holds heat without locking up your shoulders. It uses TechnoButter 3 and TB3X neoprene and arrives in the Darkorion colourway.
4/3+ describes neoprene thickness: 4 mm across the torso, 3 mm through arms and legs, and a plus that adds half a millimetre of extra material for warmth. Body and legs use recycled TechnoButter 3, while the arms and shoulders run TB3X, which is pre-stretched and lighter so each paddle stroke costs less. Seams are glued, blindstitched and fully taped with TB3X, keeping the suit sealed without making it stiff. The F.U.Z.E. chest zip closes across the chest behind a 360 degree anti-flush barrier with drain holes, so water does not flush down the neck. The neoprene is bonded with solvent free Aqua Alpha lamination and the liners are woven from recycled dope-dyed yarns. O'Neill rates the suit for water between 8 and 17 degrees Celsius.
