Mist is the light, understated take on the Oakley W. Canopy Insulated Jacket. It is an insulated women's ski jacket built on a two-layer FNDry laminate at 10K/10K, with a fixed snow skirt and pit vents, made for long days between the lift and the piste.
10K/10K means 10,000 mm of water column and 10,000 g/m²/24h of breathability, which covers a normal alpine day of snow, sleet and damp chairlifts while still letting sweat vapour escape. The seams are critically taped, and the Hydrofree DWR finish makes water bead off the shell so the fabric never turns heavy and cold. The hood adjusts, fits over a helmet and has a bonded peak that will not collapse in wind. Mesh-lined pit vents give you temperature control without opening the jacket. The snow skirt is fixed, and the waterproof reverse coil front zipper closes right up to the collar. The face fabric is 100 percent polyester and the cut is slim, so nothing bunches under a backpack. The practical details sit where you use them: the pass in the sleeve, your phone in the waterproof chest pocket, goggles in the inner mesh pocket.
