The Leki WCR SG/DH TR is a robust race pole for super-G and downhill. The shaft is an 18 mm tube in HTS 6.5 aluminium, and the grip is a Trigger 3D ProG with Leki's Trigger System. This one comes in Bright Red/Violet/Neonyellow.
The aluminium is high-strength, and Leki hardens it using a special process for stability and better resistance to impacts. The shaft has an SG/DH bend and an aerodynamic airfoil profile. The profile keeps air resistance low and makes the pole easier to use at high speed. The Trigger 3D ProG is a slim race grip in 2K Supersoft. Its non-slip surface gives you a good hold and direct power transfer. With the Trigger System, the strap or glove clicks straight into the grip. Hand and pole are linked, which gives you more control. In a fall, the connection releases once enough force pulls in a certain direction. You can also click out with the button on the grip. All alpine Trigger straps and gloves work with the pole, but Leki's Nordic Trigger system does not. The Downhill basket is aerodynamic and made for all speed disciplines. The Flex Tip is a robust tip for precise pole plants and good grip on almost any surface.
