The Head WC Rebels e-Race Pro RP + FF 14 GW is a race ski for medium-radius turns, made for advanced and expert skiers. The set comes with the Freeflex 14 GW binding. The ski has full race ski characteristics but is easier to turn than FIS-level models.
A narrower tip shape is what makes the ski less demanding. It is both stable and responsive. The core is wood with an aluminium alloy, and the sidewalls are durable phenolic. The ski has a World Cup plate. Graphene and titanal keep the weight down and make the ski quick to react. EMC is Head's electronic damping system. Ceramic piezo plates in the front and rear of the ski convert vibrations into electrical energy. This removes unwanted vibrations while keeping the rebound energy. Rebel Camber is full camber for acceleration and sharp edge grip. The base is RD Race Structured UHM C, the same type Head's World Cup technicians use. The sidecut is 117-68-102 mm, and the turn radius is 14.8 m at 170 cm. At the same length, the ski weighs 2315 g per ski without binding.
The Freeflex 14 GW has a DIN range of 4-14 and works with both standard alpine boots and GripWalk. Freeflex lets the heel slide back as the ski flexes, so the binding interferes as little as possible with the natural flex.
