The shell fabric is 57% Merino wool and 43% polypropylene, so you get the breathable warmth of Merino wool combined with the efficient moisture transport of LIFA fibers. The inner polypropylene layer wicks moisture away from the skin, while the soft Merino wool on the outside creates comfortable, insulating warmth and good thermal regulation. Breathability is one of the crew's strongest properties. The fabric is non-itch so it does not scratch, and flat lock seams provide comfort and durability without chafing against the skin. The wool is ZQ certified and responsibly sourced, and the crew weighs around 310 grams. Care for it with wool detergent, no fabric softener, wash it inside out, and do not wring it.
