Vertec HIPE® 3L Shell Pants from Peak Performance are 3-layer HIPE® shell pants with a RECCO® reflector and inner-leg venting. The Vertec family is designed for resort skiers who also explore the backcountry. This one is Pine Needle.
HIPE® is Peak Performance's own fabric. It is windproof and waterproof while still breathing. All seams are fully sealed, and the pants are made without intentionally added PFAS. The RECCO® reflector makes you searchable to professional rescuers and never needs to be switched on. Zips along the inner leg give you ventilation. At the bottom, the legs have snow gaiters with anti-slip elastic and Cordura® reinforcement. The legs are articulated. Velcro straps adjust the waist, and there are belt loops and a hanger loop inside the waistband. The zip fly has a hook and eye at the top. There are two hand pockets and a leg pocket, all zipped. Exposed zips are YKK AquaGuard®.

Materials: Shell 1: 100% polyamide face, 100% polyester backer and 100% polyurethane membrane. Shell 2: 100% polyester.
The pants pair with the Vertec jacket from the same family. Loops at the waist snap into the jacket's snow skirt, giving you one kit for both lift and tour.
