The Leki Venom SL TR is a slalom race pole with a Trigger 3D SL grip and Leki's Trigger System. This one comes in Neonpink/Neonorange/Neonyellow.
The shaft has two sections. The upper is a 16 mm tube in HTS 6.5 aluminium, and the 14 mm lower section is reinforced with carbon. This gives high stability and a precise swing. The slim, cylindrical shaft has no bend, so the pole sits directly and with control in your hand. Finger indentations position your hand on the grip, and its shape is made for slalom. With the Trigger System, the strap or glove clicks straight into the grip. Hand and pole are linked, which gives you more control. In a fall, the connection releases once enough force pulls in a certain direction. You can also click out with the button on the grip. All alpine Trigger straps and gloves work with the pole, but Leki's Nordic Trigger system does not. The Racing/Trekking basket is compact, keeps the pole from sinking into the snow and changes by hand. The Flex Tip is a robust tip for precise pole plants on almost any surface.
