The ski is built around an Air Core Basalite Pro core that is both light and stable, and it has Fischer's IFP plate, which makes binding mounting simple and positions the binding optimally. Grip comes from the Twin Skin Mohair zone with two shorter but wider mohair strips that, according to Fischer, give solid kick on hard and glazed tracks and remove the need for grip wax. The glide zones have a World Cup Pro grind, and the ski ships with a protective layer of hot wax that must be removed before the first outing.
