The Fischer Twin Skin Performance Medium is a classic skin ski for skiers of all abilities. The set includes the ski and a Control Step-In binding for the IFP plate. This is the Medium stiffness version. The ski is blue, and the binding is black and yellow.
Efficient Forward makes the body of the ski more elastic, so the kick takes less effort and forgives imperfect technique. The two mohair mix Twin Skin strips are set offset and at varying depths in the base. That gives good glide and steady grip, even on hard and glazed tracks. The core is Air Channel Basalite. It is fibreglass and wood with air channels that save up to 250 g compared to a pure wood core, and basalt fibres save another 40 g. The base is World Cup Pro with Speed Grinding 2.0, a universal stone grind for all snow conditions.
The Control Step-In closes with a clear click when you step in. The Turn Lock lever is protected against opening by accident. You move the binding on the IFP plate without tools, and the heel piece follows automatically. The Classic Flexor has a flex rating of 7.0 and a 45 degree working angle.
