The Head Supershape e-Magnum SW + PRD 12 GW is the most versatile carving ski in Head's Supershape range. It handles short and long turns at any speed. The set comes with the PRD 12 GW binding.
The ski has a 72 mm waist and a narrow tail. The tip shape makes turn initiation easy, and you get edge grip and rebound along the full edge. The construction is Worldcup Sandwich Cap with an aluminium alloy, Graphene and Crossforce Carbon. With Crossforce Carbon, the topsheet is removed under the binding, so the binding is mounted directly onto a carbon wrap. This gives better power transmission to the snow. EMC is Head's electronic damping system and keeps the ride smooth at all speeds. The Better Balance plate gives the same ramp angle for every boot. Speedrocker is a small tip lift combined with standard camber. The base is RD Race Structured UHM C. The sidecut is 126-72-110 mm, and the turn radius is 13.1 m at 170 cm. At the same length, the ski weighs 2307 g per ski without binding.
The PRD 12 GW has a DIN range of 3.5-12 and works with both standard alpine boots and GripWalk. The VX toe has Full Diagonal release and BTR kinematics. Together with the diagonal heel, this helps reduce the risk of injury. The three-part heel makes stepping in and out easy.
