The Faction Studio 4 is a premium twin-tip freeride ski with a 122 mm waist, built for the deep days and the latest in Faction's powder lineage.
The Studio 4 pairs an ultra-wide platform for exceptional float in powder with true performance and pure play. The core is light poplar wood that balances strength and low weight, reinforced with carbon stringers, 8 to 12 unidirectional strips per side, seamlessly woven into the fiberglass for stability without bulk. A 600 mm carbon and rubber stomp pad under the binding delivers superior stability and vibration absorption. Boat Flex combines a stiffer tip and tail with a softer mid-section under the binding for high-speed stability and maximum pop. The profile has minimal camber and generous rocker, and a slightly skinnier tail with a wider tip improves the descent. An Elliptical Sidecut with a longer radius underfoot and a shorter radius in the tip and tail makes the ski easy to pivot despite its width. XL 2.5 mm steel edges, a Full Strength Sidewall and an Anti-Chip Micro-Cap ensure durability, and the ski is built in Austria 100% on renewable energy. Faction rates it flex 8/10, float 10/10 and style 9/10.
