The Salomon Strive 14 GW is an alpine binding for the advanced skier who wants maximum contact with the ski and fast response in demanding terrain.
The binding is built around an ultra-low toe piece, the LDN Toe, which lowers the centre of gravity and delivers direct power transfer from boot to ski. An extra-wide pedal of more than 60 mm ensures stable lateral steering, while the sliding toe pedal follows the boot's movement and re-centres it after load for safe releases. XL Wings hold the boot firmly and build confidence in freeskiing. At the rear sits a three-part heel with Arch Heel that reinforces laterally and dampens vibration, keeping the release smooth and friction-free. With a full 47 mm of elastic travel the binding absorbs large shocks and prevents unwanted pre-release at speed. The chassis is low profile for better terrain feel, and the glass-fibre PA construction keeps the binding light and durable. A wide 72 mm AFD pad ensures solid contact between boot and binding.
