The Salomon Strive 12 GW is a versatile alpine binding for the experienced skier looking for more power, shorter response time and better control across the whole mountain.
At its core is an ultra-low toe piece with LDN Toe, giving a low centre of gravity and closer contact with the ski. An extra-wide pedal of more than 60 mm improves lateral power transfer, while the sliding toe pedal moves with the boot and re-centres it after load. XL Wings wrap the boot and build confidence when the terrain gets demanding. At the rear a three-part heel with Arch Heel provides lateral reinforcement and absorbs vibration, so the release stays smooth and friction-free. With 47 mm of elastic travel the binding keeps its grip at speed and prevents unwanted release under large shocks. Automatic Wing and Toe adjustment makes setup simple, and a low-profile chassis increases terrain feel. The glass-fibre PA construction keeps weight down without compromising durability, and a wide 72 mm AFD pad ensures stable contact between boot and binding.
