The BCA Stealth 330 is the longest avalanche probe in the BCA range, built for snow safety professionals and for anyone travelling in a very deep snowpack. This one is blue and reaches 330 cm when extended.

The probe is certified to the UIAA standard for avalanche probes. Its depth markings are laser etched into the aluminium rather than painted on, so they do not wear away as the probe runs up and down through hard snow day after day. The markings come in two formats, letting you read depth quickly during a search and accurately when you cut a snow profile. The locking system is called Stealth Quick-Lock. It tensions the probe without loose cables that can whip you in the face while you work fast, and it packs the probe into a smaller bundle when it goes back in the pack. BCA uses aluminium on its pro level models because the material stands up better to everyday use than carbon. A probe is only part of a rescue, so it belongs alongside a transceiver and a shovel in the same pack.
