Speedmax 7 Skate - Cross Country Boots

The Fischer Speedmax 7 Skate is a skating race boot. It is inspired by Fischer's World Cup race boots and has a race-oriented yet versatile fit. The boot is black and closes with laces and Fischer Speed Lock.

The cuff and chassis are made of CARBONFUSED, a carbon fibre reinforced polymer. Together with Speed Lock, they keep the weight down and give efficient power transfer and good control. Speed Lock is a small, light quick lock: pull the laces tight, and that is it. The moulded cuff sits on a Zero Play Hinge. The hinge has no play, so the boot holds firm laterally while it moves freely forwards and backwards. The cuff is screw mounted and interchangeable, and the Velcro strap can be replaced without tools. The upper has no stitched seams, which protects well against water. A sealed zip and a lace cover keep snow and moisture out. Every material in the upper can be adapted with heat and special tools. Fischer lists the weight at 570 g per boot.
