The RIDE Specter is a freestyle binding that RIDE describes as the lightest, highest-performance freestyle binding it has ever built. It prioritizes pure riding over unnecessary complexity and speaks to park and freestyle riders who want a direct, playful connection to the board.
The chassis is built from A-Series Aluminum with an extruded aluminum heel cup that delivers reactive flex and quick toe-to-heel power transfer, while still letting the board flex freely from nose to tail. The nylon highback gives a predictable blend of response and comfort, and the two-piece ankle strap combines rigid plastic for response with a urethane material that spreads pressure and removes hotspots without added padding. Up front, the Minimalist Toe Strap 2.0 keeps the boot close to the binding for maximum hold. The canted footbed uses a subtle angle to align the ankles and knees naturally and provide leverage for pressing the board.
