The Slingshot Space Melter was designed in partnership with the Space Mob and has bred an entirely new style of rider since its release. It is built for progressive park riders focused on technical rail riding and butters.
The board is designed to mimic a snowboard through its outline, flex and tip and tail rocker, and Slingshot highlights it as having the most delicious nose and tail scoop they have ever put on a wakeboard. The narrow outline gives sharp edge control, and the lightweight construction makes the board quick to maneuver. The core is an Atomic Wood Core that delivers a soft, playful feel so you can take presses to the max. A continuous rocker ensures a smooth, predictable curve, while the chined rails keep slides and grinds forgiving. The Ballistic base is highly durable, singleshot fusion sidewalls protect the edge and core, and carbon bedrock inserts hold the bindings firmly. The board also features Extreme Stance Options for an extra wide stance. All materials are, according to Slingshot, sustainably sourced.
