The Salomon Shift Alpha BOA 120 is an alpine boot for skiers who climb as much as they ride the lift. A 120 flex, a narrow last and the BOA Fit System give you a hold that you can fine-tune with one turn of the dial.
The shell is polyurethane, while the cuff blends polyolefin with cross-linked polyethylene for rigidity without added weight. FreeSpine links cuff and shell and delivers the progressive alpine flex you expect from a resort boot. The Twinlock mechanism opens a wide range of motion in walk mode and locks horizontally for the descent. A PowerWedge insert inside the FreeSpine switches between freedom on the way up and direct power transfer on the way down. The textile and plastic Exobelt is tightened by the BOA dial and keeps the heel seated, so long climbs stay blister free. The pre-shaped My Custom Fit Freeride 4D Pro liner adds a walk function, and Custom Shell HD lets a bootfitter heat-mould the shell.
