The Leki Sherpa FX Carbon Strong is a folding carbon pole for ski touring and high alpine terrain all year round. It has an Aergon Air grip, the ELD folding system and Speed Lock 1 Plus. This one comes in Orange/Denimblue.
The upper section is carbon with a 20 mm diameter, which makes the pole stable and robust. The lowest section is aluminium for durability. The Aergon Air grip has a hollow core, which keeps it light while still giving large surfaces to support your hand. A built-in angle supports your wrist, and the rubberised grip head gives you grip and control on the descent. With ELD, you fold and unfold the pole without tools, and a push of the button releases the tension. Speed Lock 1 Plus adjusts the length quickly and easily, even with gloves on. The pole comes with two baskets. The Trekking basket covers spring, summer and autumn, and the large Big Mountain Binding basket is made for snow. Thanks to the Flex Tip, you swap them in seconds without tools. The tip is carbide and bites into all types of snow.
