In the lighter Pebble colourway, the Oakley Roundhouse Short Glove is a slim park glove for skiers and snowboarders who want to feel what they touch. An FN Dry 10K laminate and 3M Thinsulate handle the protection.
The cuff is short, so the glove tucks under the jacket sleeve instead of sitting over it. That keeps bulk down at the wrist and lets the hand move quickly when you reach for something or correct after a trick. The FN Dry 10K laminate blocks water from outside while letting heat and moisture escape, so hands do not turn clammy over a long park session. 3M Thinsulate insulation supplies warmth without loft, and the thin build preserves feel in the fingertips. The palm is polyurethane with silicone detailing that adds friction on a pole or a board edge. A Velcro closure at the wrist tunes the fit in a second, and the thumb and index finger are touchscreen compatible, so a phone stays usable without baring skin. The fabric is 68 percent polyester, 27 percent polyurethane, 3 percent polyamide, 1 percent elastane and 1 percent rubber.
