The K2 Recon 120 LV is an all-mountain ski boot with a 120 flex and a 98 mm low-volume last. It has GripWalk soles, a Powerlite shell and K2's PrecisionFit Pro liner.
K2 built the Recon 120 for a snap-quick response and a consistent flex. It gives you a classic out-of-the-box fit and customizable features, without a punishing flex. The Powerlite shell uses walls of varying thickness and four different types of TPU, so it stays light and responsive. The cuff and shell are joined by Energy Interlock, a rivet-free design that puts less stress on the material and gives a smoother, progressive flex. At the rear sits the Powerfuse Spyne, a co-injected Y-shaped support. It adds strength to the Energy Interlock for efficient fore and aft flex and more lateral stiffness. Softer TPU over the instep makes the boot quick and easy to get in and out of. Both shell and cuff can be heat-moulded.
The liner is pre-moulded and lasted with heat-mouldable Ultralon foam. It has an asymmetric tongue, pre-moulded ankle pockets and a high-density power collar for a firm but comfortable fit. The GripWalk soles are rockered and interchangeable. They add grip and comfort when you walk and stand, without compromising power transmission or release at the binding.
