The K2 Recon 110 BOA is a versatile all-mountain and freeride boot for advanced skiers who want aggressive carving with forgiveness in trees and soft snow.
The boot has a flex 110 and a medium volume with a MultiFit width of 100 mm and is built on the TPU Powerlite shell, where shell walls of varying thickness and four types of TPU place stiffness and strength where they are needed. Closure comes from the BOA Fit System with a micro-adjustable dial, light laces and low-friction lace guides, backed up by a 40 mm velcro strap that is mid-width and responsive over the cuff. The cuff is lightweight polypropylene for a consistent flex and reliable support, and the LuxFit Pro liner is molded in heat-moldable Ultralon foam with an asymmetric tongue, pre-molded ankle pockets and a medium-density collar. Shell and cuff are fully heat-moldable, the Fastfit instep makes entry and exit easy, and the GripWalk outsoles, replaceable ISO 23223 alpine soles, work with GripWalk bindings for better grip.
