The Faction Prodigy 3 is an all-mountain ski with a 106 mm waist and a directional twin shape. It is made for both packed snow and powder and keeps the playful character of the Prodigy series. The topsheet is grey-green with black artwork called Chasm by Parade Studios. The artwork is inspired by rock strata, crevasses and terrain cross-sections, and the base is pink and dark blue.

The core is poplar between two layers of fibreglass. Poplar flexes, pops and absorbs vibration, and the core is torsionally stiff enough to grip well on the way down. Mustache Flex is stiff underfoot for solid edge hold. The flex in the tip and tail is smooth and progressive, so the ski soaks up bumps and loose snow. The tail is considerably narrower than the tip for better downhill performance, and the twin tip tail makes skiing switch easy. The elliptical sidecut has a long radius underfoot and a shorter radius in the tip and tail. Underfoot the ski pivots quickly, and the tip and tail make turns easy to start.
