The Look Pivot 2.0 15 GW is a freeride binding with a DIN range of 6-15 that works with both alpine and GripWalk soles. This one comes in Black Metal, with a brake for skis that are 105-115 mm underfoot.
The heel is Look's classic Pivot turntable, which sits directly under your tibia. Its 28 mm of elastic travel absorbs shock and keeps the boot locked in, cutting down on unwanted pre-release. The toe is Look's all-metal RACE toe piece with 45 mm of elastic travel. It releases through 180 degrees and adds a true mechanical upward release that works independently of the heel. Long elastic travel and fast re-centering soak up impacts before the binding lets go. The mounting zone is short, which means less swing weight, quicker response and a deeper, rounder, more consistent ski flex. Look's rolling control gives a strong boot-to-binding coupling, so the boot barely rolls before the binding engages and your power goes straight into the ski.
