The Leki Pitch Back is an aluminium alpine ski pole with a grip extension and a Big Mountain basket. The grip is a ProG CAS with an adjustable strap. This one comes in Black/Mint/Bright Violet.
The shaft is HTS 6.0 aluminium, where HTS stands for Heat Treated Shaft. With a 16 mm diameter, the pole is both light and robust. The ProG CAS is a slim grip with a non-slip surface for a secure hold and good power transfer. It uses Leki's Classic Adjustment System, which means an adjustable strap and no integrated glove system. The strap is reinforced with neoprene and has a comfortable fleece inlay. Below the grip sits the foam extension, which makes it easy to choke down on steep terrain or traverses. The Big Mountain basket is large and made for deep snow, and you change it by hand. The steel tip sits inside the shaft and gives precise pole plants on almost any surface.
