The Völkl Peregrine 82 is a versatile carving ski for experienced skiers who ski both icy pistes and fresh snow. It stays stable as conditions change. It comes with the Marker Lowride 13 FR binding on an integrated rail system.
The key technology is the Tailored Titanal Frame. It is a titanal frame above the sidewall along the tip and tail, which adds damping and torsional stiffness. The frame is tuned to each ski length to match the skier's height, ability and power. A second, thinner titanal layer under the binding adds strength while keeping the ski agile. Together with the new tip shape, it gives direct, precise and reliable handling. Tailored Carbon Tips make the ski agile in quick, short turns. The core is a 3D Multilayer Woodcore. Stronger wood sits where the ski needs power transmission and edge grip, and lighter wood sits in less stressed zones. Marker and Völkl developed the Lowride binding together. Its extra low stand height gives strong power transfer and edge grip. The sidecut is 128-82-111 mm, measured on Völkl's reference length.
