Scott Explorair 3L Pants are shell pants made from DRYOsphere, a waterproof and breathable 3-layer fabric. They partner the Scott Explorair jacket, which is built for ski touring. This version comes in Portobello Beige.
The pants belong to Scott's Re-source line. Scott calls them the most versatile pants in its shell collection. DRYOsphere is Scott's own membrane fabric. It keeps water and wind out and lets moisture from your body escape. Waterproofing is rated at 15,000 mm and breathability at 10,000 g/m²/24h. Vents on the outside of the legs let you dump heat when you warm up on the way up. The suspenders are adjustable and detachable, and the waist adjusts too. Integrated snow gaiters sit inside the legs, and reinforced panels protect the hems. There are hand pockets and a zipped thigh pocket. The shell fabric is recycled polyester, and the DWR finish is PFC free. The fit is regular. The pants weigh about 490 grams, can be machine washed at 30°C and tumble dried on low heat.
