The SCOTT Explorair 3L is a 3-layer ski pant built for dedicated days on the piste and in the changing weather beyond it.
The pant uses SCOTT's DRYOsphere 3L membrane to stay waterproof and breathable, with a water column of 15,000 mm (JIS L1092 B) and breathability of 10,000 g/m2/24 hours (JIS L 1099 B1, inverted cup). The 3-layer construction bonds the membrane between the face fabric and the backer into a durable material that stays weatherproof and takes hard use season after season. The face fabric is 100% recycled polyester finished with a PFC-free DWR treatment that makes snow and moisture bead off. The regular fit leaves room for a mid-layer without feeling tight. Detachable, adjustable suspenders keep the pant in place, and the waist can be adjusted for a close fit. Integrated snow gaiters seal snow out, while exterior leg venting dumps heat when the pace picks up. The pant weighs around 490 g.
