The Hestra Omni Mitt is a short, supple mitten with a minimalist look and well-thought-out functionality. The colour is Brown.
The mitten construction traps more air than a fingered glove and therefore gives extra warmth. The outer is in hardwearing, treated cowhide that is supple and weather-resistant. Inside sits G-Loft insulation, a thin polyester fibre with high insulating capacity that dries quickly and stays breathable, plus a brushed-polyester lining that binds air and improves the insulation. An adjustable neoprene cuff closes snugly around the wrist and holds the warmth, and a strap with hook-and-loop closure secures the mitten when it is taken off. The neoprene cuff adapts to different jacket sleeves, and attachments for handcuffs keep the two mittens together. The construction is simple and well thought out: the mitten is among Hestra's warmest models, precisely because it traps more air around the fingers than a fingered glove. The rugged cowhide stands up to wind and weather and grows softer over time. The mitten is produced at Hestra's own factory in Hai Phong, Vietnam, and works on-piste, in the park and in the backcountry.
