The Patagonia Untracked Pants are men's shell pants in 3-layer GORE-TEX ePE Performance, which is waterproof and breathable. The fabric is supple yet durable, and a soft flannel backer moves moisture away. This pair is black.
The side vents use waterproof Vislon zippers and run from the waist to above the knee, so you can dump heat fast. Articulated patterning lets you move freely on the skin track and on the way down. The low-profile waistband closes with two snaps and a zip fly. Elastic tabs at the sides adjust the fit, and there are exterior belt loops. Gaiters seal out snow, and tough scuff guards protect the inside of the legs and the hem. A concealed RECCO reflector lets rescuers locate it with a directional signal. The pants are made in a Fair Trade Certified factory in Vietnam.
