They are built from 86 percent recycled polyester and 14 percent elastane with four-way stretch and a durable water repellent (DWR) finish. An elasticized waistband is easy to pull on, and a textured drawcord at the waist helps keep the knot secured in heavier surf. Two front side pockets and a zippered back-right welt pocket with a key loop all have mesh pocket bags. The light, stretchy fabric gives free movement in the water and dries quickly again on land, so the shorts are equally good for surfing, swimming and a trip into town. The elasticized waistband and drawcord ensure a secure fit even in heavier surf. The 16-inch outseam sits just above the knees. Made in a Fair Trade Certified factory.
