The Patagonia M's Fjord Flannel Shirt is a flannel shirt in organic cotton with a button front and two chest pockets. This one comes in the Dissolve: Treeline Green pattern.
The fabric is a 7.1-oz brushed flannel. Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers, and because Patagonia buys the whole harvest, the grower gets a reliable buyer. Brushing lifts the fibres on the face of the cloth and holds a layer of still air against the skin, so the shirt feels warmer than its weight suggests. The weave is dense enough to take the edge off a cold wind, and the cotton softens with every wash. The chest pockets close with a flap and a button. The shirttail hem can be worn tucked or loose. The shirt weighs 465 grams and is sewn in a Fair Trade Certified factory.
