The Oakley MOD5 MIPS is an alpine snow helmet with Oakley's Modular Brim System and BOA Fit System, built for secure protection and seamless integration with your goggles.
The MIPS Brain Protection System reduces rotational forces to the brain in angled impacts, and the BOA 270 Fit System gives a micro-adjustable, precise fit. The Modular Brim System has two interchangeable brims so helmet and goggles match regardless of goggle shape, and the brim/goggle ventilation channels warm air away from the goggle for better anti-fog. Adjustable top ventilation quickly releases warm air, a Fidlock magnetic buckle can be operated with gloves on, and the liner and earpads are removable and machine washable. The helmet is certified to ASTM F2040 and CE EN1077.
