The K2 Mindbender 140 BOA is an uncompromising freeride and touring boot for experts who want maximum power on the way down and range of motion on the way up.
The boot has a flex 140 and a medium volume with a 100 mm width and is built on the TPU Powerlite shell, where shell walls of varying thickness and four types of TPU deliver targeted stiffness. The cuff is lightweight, more eco-friendly Pebax that holds a consistent flex across temperatures. Closure comes from the BOA Fit System with a micro-adjustable dial, light laces and low-friction lace guides, backed up by a 45 mm elasticated cam strap. Powerlock Spyne gives a 50-degree range of motion for walking and a firm, powerful ski mode, and integrated tech fittings make the boot compatible with both tech and alpine bindings. The Intuition PowerFit Wrap BOA liner is light and heat-moldable, and a modular Honeycomb boot board holds around 15 percent more heat. A Power Plate can be added for extra stiffness at the front. The GripWalk outsoles give grip when you walk.
