The K2 Mindbender 105 W BOA is a high-performance women's freeride ski boot built with K2's newest BOA technology.
The BOA Fit System with an H+i1 dial wraps closer around the foot with more micro-adjustability, creating a precise fit, responsiveness and a quick release, and the dial's breakaway design is engineered to eject the dial cartridge under severe impact. The Powerlite Shell is K2's high-performance design with shell walls of varying thicknesses and four types of TPU, and a 105 flex delivers powerful yet manageable control. Inside sits a Powerfit Pro Tour liner with heat-moldable Ultralon foam and a stiff, asymmetric tongue for better power transmission. The Powerlock Spyne walk mode provides up to a 50-degree range of motion on the way up and locks into uncompromised performance on the way down. Integrated tech fittings make the boot compatible with both tech and alpine bindings, and a GripWalk outsole with a rocker profile, convex shape and ribbed tread improves walking. The shell and cuff are fully heat-moldable, a Fastfit instep eases entry and exit, an elastic cam strap boosts power transmission, and a modular honeycomb boot board improves heat retention. The width runs from 97mm to 100mm in a MultiFit fit for medium-volume feet. The boot is categorized for freeride, big mountain, powder, touring and piste.
