The Anon Merak WaveCel is Anon's most advanced ski and snowboard helmet. It brings together WaveCel protection, a hybrid shell, adjustable venting and a BOA fit in one helmet. This version comes in Black.

WaveCel is a cellular structure inside the helmet. The cells act as a network of connected shock absorbers that collapse on impact. They spread the energy, absorb force the way a car's crumple zone does and redirect rotational energy away from your head. The technology was designed by doctors, and in snow sports it is exclusive to Anon. The shell is a 50/50 hybrid. The top is a durable Endura shell, and the lower section is a light in-mold build. That puts strength where helmets take the most hits and keeps the weight down. There are 19 vents in total. Eight of them open and close, so you can tune the airflow as conditions change. The enhanced BOA system is easy to adjust with gloves on and moves up and down across eight height positions. The Fidlock buckle is magnetic and closes with one hand, even when you wear gloves.
