A flat toric lens shape is the heart of the Anon M5, which sits between the M4 and the M6 in Anon's line. This version comes in Brunswick Green with a Perceive Variable Green lens rated at 22 percent light transmission, category 2, for light that shifts between sun and cloud.
Where the M4 is the wide toric option and the M6 the wide cylindrical one, the M5 gathers the strengths of both. The flat toric lens opens up peripheral vision the way a toric lens does while keeping the clean, low profile of a cylindrical frame, so you see more to the sides without growing the frame. Magna-Tech locks the lens with N52 magnets and turns a swap into a matter of seconds, even mid run with gloves on. Perceive optics raise contrast so the terrain stays readable when the light flattens out. Anon rates the anti fog coating at five times the industry standard. A second Perceive lens and an MFI face mask are included, so you have an answer for sun and cloud alike.
- Flat toric lens: peripheral view, low profile
- Magna-Tech N52 magnets for quick changes
- Perceive optics define the terrain ahead
- Variable Green, 22 percent light transmission, category 2
- MFI magnets close the goggle to mask gap
- Anti fog rated five times the industry standard
- Spare lens and face mask in the box
M5 is the middle road for skiers and snowboarders who want a wider view than a cylindrical frame gives without the bulk of the M4. With two Perceive lenses and a magnetic face mask link, it is ready for a full season with nothing else to buy.
